As an upcoming artist in an industry heavily over populated, RICKABY has been making a name for himself through constant and consistent work. His latest mixtape "Grindin 4 the Midwest" with Violator Allstar Dj Fusion shows him putting his region more on the map with songs like "Wolverines and Badgers" and "M.I.D.W.E.S.T". Originally from Gwinn, MI, Rickaby moved to Madison, WI in early 2007 and has since been gaining a buzz performing throughout Southwest Wisconsin. He has opened up for national acts such as Nas, Talib Kweli, Jay Electronica, Zion I, Day 26, Rhymesayers artist Mac Lethal, and most recently Acadamy Award Winners Three 6 Mafia. After two solo mixtapes, Rickaby is currently hard at work on a few more as well as an EP and a debut album scheduled to be released through Top of the Map Ent in November 2011.
